I have known Melissa through yoga since 2017. She and I have attended some of the same classes and she has also been a teacher/class leader for me. I am a recently retired, very active, adult. I enjoy swimming laps, weights, walking/jogging/hiking, and snow skiing when available. I also played competitive adult league tennis for 35 years.
As I aged, I added yoga to my regimen 10 years ago and have had more instructors than I can remember. I can say unequivocally that Melissa is one of the best yoga teachers I have observed. She is a natural. She can teach a powerful strength class and bring such positive energy to the room that you forget you were tired before the class began. She can also teach gentle yoga in a very soft meditative way that is totally relaxing. At both ends of this spectrum she shows the right attention to detail in coaching and leading her classes. This I am sure translates well to the personal training and health consulting side of her service offering as well.
I have also gotten to know her on a personal level so I feel comfortable in saying that she truly loves what she does and sincerely wants to make a difference in other people’s life through her service offerings.
